3D printing has now served on the front lines of disaster relief efforts, particularly in Haiti, where 3D printers were put to use to create medical devices for humanitarian intervention. On-site production of medical tools and devices proved to be viable and life-saving in efforts in Haiti, providing versatility and fast response times. A.
