The Toy Like Me campaign began in the UK with the realization that children with disabilities were not being represented in the toys they could choose to play with. The group called on toy makers to acknowledge and value children with disabilities by including them in their line of toys. It should come as no surprise that a 3D printed toy manufacturer was the first to heed their call. The Makies, a company specializing in customizable dolls, recently added options to their set of individual inputs that make each doll unique, such as adding mobility devices or hearing aids. Toy Like Me is now calling on other, larger manufacturers to follow Makies' example. Read more about these inclusive toys in the full article: http://3dprint.com/65487/makies-respond-to-toy-like-me/
