Win the Micro 3D Printer in M3D/3DSha.re Design Competition
M3D's Micro 3D printer was an unprecedented success on Kickstarter last year, raising more than $3.4 million from almost 12,000 backers--and if you want your own, a new competition launched by M3D and 3DShare is offering the opportunity to win one! The Micro is intended to be a plug and play 3D printer, so simple, useful designs are key; if you design a great object, upload it exclusively to 3DShare (be sure to tag 'Micro') before the contest ends May 30th for a chance to win. One winner will receive their choice of color for their very own Micro 3D printer, with their design featured on 3DPrint.com and entered into 3DShare's annual Design of the Year award. jsut to be clear - does the object have to be small enough to be printed by the micro ?
Seems a bit daft if not :-)
so if that's the case then build volume is as follows:
Print height: 116mm (4.6")
Base Print Area: 109mm x 113mm
Print Area Above 74mm: 91mm x 84mm
