Norwegian engineering student Miska Karvonen would like nothing more than to make a living as a maker. He’s off to a good start, contributing regularly to Instructables with projects that are inexpensive to build and generally easy to complete, particularly thanks to Karvonen’s helpful, detailed, step-by-step instructions. See his latest project, a 2.8” touchscreen Internet Radio that can be controlled with a PC, a smartphone, or any device with a browser and an internet connection. It uses a Raspberry Pi and an Adafruit PiTfT touch screen and runs with Volumio. Karvonen printed the case for the radio using his PrintrBot 3D printer.
