The idea of universal design is that an environment is usable for anyone, whatever their physical level of ability might be. This thought led to the development of STACK, a measuring cup that enhances the usage experience of those both sighted and visually impaired alike. Designed by Kaleb Thomas and two others in a group from the Industrial Design program at Auburn University, STACK is a new take on measuring cups with a well thought-out design. With a container-in-container stacked design that can telescope out for measuring use, and smaller and larger dots designating levels, STACK was designed in SolidWorks.
