Idaho-based Advanced Tech Engineering has launched a Kickstarter campaign seeking to fund the development of their new CNC mill/3D printer combination tool, called Limitless. The large system--it has a build envelope of 23.5" x 20" x 14"--does not require swapping of toolheads between different parts of a manufacturing job. The Kickstarter campaign, running through May 28th, has a goal to raise $57,500. The Limitless machine is available for just $4,000 for backers, and an extra $400 pledge will add a heated build plate as well.
