Oslo’s Agency for Planning and Building Services is now proudly displaying a 1:1,000 scale, 3D printed model of the Norwegian city. An eight-member team used the latest software and data collection to create the complex model, which represents an area of 34.8km2 (about 13.5 square miles) within the city’s central area. Overall, the 3D printed model measures 7.6m x 4.5m (24.9’ x 14.7’) and was printed using two 3D Systems ZPrinter 650 3D printers.
