i.materialise, while considering themselves one of the top providers for 3D printing with gold finishes, has made some changes to their white gold offerings, and both 14K and 18K options. Not just content with a thin veneer for 3D printed objects, or rhodium plating, the i.materialise team is not offering white gold which mixes in palladium for higher quality and durability. They also invite jewelry designers to enter their latest contest to win some great prizes in their Jewelry Challenge in Collaboration with RhinoGold, running through September 30th.
