It's Winter Olympic time, and what a better time fr a bit of a publicity stunt than to 3D print a set of skis. That's just what Stratasys has done. They used Fused Deposition Modeling to print out the skis which were made of Ultem 9084 Resin. They used their Fortus 900mc Production System, and did a tremendous job. They had to break the main ski up into 2 parts, the tip and the tail, because the size was too large to be printed at once in the Fortus.
