Nimble the dog, a 16-week-old Chihuahua/Pomeranian mix, is missing most of her legs, down to about 1/2 to 1/3 of each of her four legs. Her original owners were thinking of euthanizing the puppy, but Christine Broyles, a veterinary technician, heard about her plight and adopted Nimble into a loving home. Now Broyles is looking to help her dog out, with the goal in mind to get her a cart for her front legs and prosthetic legs for her hind legs, and has launched a campaign on GoFundMe to help with the costs involved. 3D Systems, after a great success with prosthetic legs for Derby the dog, has reached out to Broyles about the possibility of the dog receiving her own 3D printed legs to get up and running.
