What is a filament that can withstand slightly higher temps?
Looking to make plastic that might be exposed to some heat, not very hot, somewhere around the 80-90C range, I would prefer something with a slightly higher working temperature than ABS. What are my options? Looking for 1.75mm spools.
Thank you

Hello DBFIU,
filaments made out of PEEK material withstand temperatures up to 260ºC without mechanical deformation. For further information:

I hope it helps. If you have any questions feel free to ask me!

That is some expensive filament at 140 euros for 200 grams.

peek needs extruding at 360c plus !
Most hotends won't touch that by a considerable margin.
The pla is probably your best bet.
Assuming you can find anyone with it in stock :-)

You're right, most hotends don't reach that. It is possible to upgrade the hotend to make it PEEK-compatible though, or compatible with any other material requiring high temperatures for that matter

I have had the hotend on my Stratsys up to 500c with no ill effects. The only problem I can see with doing it on my Wanhao is getting rid of the extra heat before it gets to the stepper mounting bar.

My printer will not go to 500C, no way. I was thinking more along the lines of PET+? Is that stuff good for at least 90C without adverse affects?
Please explain to me how to...
