Engineer Demetris Zavorotnitsienko says his Ilios Photon printer was originally built as a tool for internal use as he worked on a variety of projects in his lab, but a successful IndieGoGo campaign led to the creation of this burly DLP system. The DLP Photon printer features tough, metallic construction, and Zavorotnitsienko says that also equates to a very high degree of accuracy and repeatability in the objects it can create. I also features large build volume of 120x240x200 millimeters and an easily removable resin vat. You can read the whole story here: http://3dprint.com/45176/ilios-photon-3d-printer/
