How to achieve ripple effect?
Hi guys,
We recently had a client that wants us to create a really challenging 3d introduction for their exhibitions. We have graphic artists / designers who can work with After Effects and achieve this kind of work.
We were able to create a scenaro in which their products were leaping out of a pond like area,( think of a fish leaping out of a pond) using After Effects. This is only geometry moving up then disappers on the way down in the 3d space. Im using android and I guess most of us is familiar with the ripple effect when we touch the screen. We want to achieve the same effect when the products reach the 3d space. Like a pond ripple effect.
We are not sure and we just started our research if Maya can do this? Liquidify - ripple effect droplets?
Or do we have to use RealFlow for such task?
Tips guys?Last edited by iamGoran; 09-07-2016 at 02:18 PM.
