Woodstock Farm Animal Sanctuary, located in the Catskill Mountains, is home to a variety of rescued animals. Goats, sheep, ducks, cows, and more inhabit the farm, and that includes a very lucky sheep named Felix. Felix was the recipient of a 3D printed prosthetic after co-founder Jenny Brown (who coincidentally wears a prosthetic leg herself) began looking into the technology after his current prosthetic began to wear down. With help from her own prosthetist, a local veterinarian, and Hudson Valley Advanced Manufacturing Center, a 3D printed prosthetic leg was designed for lucky Felix, made out of AVS Plus, which is the same material of which LEGOs are composed.
