Hello,
I have a powerspec 3d pro but figured its close enough to the FFCP that someone here will know. I have a consistent issue on my z-axis where I'll get a gap/slight shift regardless of...
turns out it was a z-axis offset issue. increasing extrusion multiplier and overlap was a bandaid. honed it down to a .1mm offset.
I had a nozzle jam on me the other day and decided to upgrade one extruder to the micro swiss all metal hot end below (.4mm). I print PLA and didn't change any slicer settings but immediately...
I haven't only because I can't seem to find a download of the original firmware anywhere...my understanding is it was an early release of sailfish 7.7 with the LCD screen modified to say "1.2 Power...
I have a powerspec 3d pro printer that was printing dual extrusions models fine until I upgraded to sailfish 7.7 r01591 (Creator X firmware). My printer is not accounting for the offset on the left...
Fortunately I haven't run into this problem. Maybe try isolating it to the HBP or the wires themselves. Unlikely to be the MB.
yup, just checked the wires on the MB, gave them a wiggle and tightened them down. Works fine.
Thanks for posting!
any news on this? I'm now experiencing the same problem
I agree, none of those clips worked well...so i modified a set and made my own! Holding strong the last 30hrs of printing and very easy to adjust when needed since there are wingnuts on the bottom...
can you share a picture?
some great posts everyone! Thanks for all the input/options.
After heating the stock buildplate to 60C for PLA prints, I still had leveling issues in the front right quadrant. I end up with wavy...
Thanks for the heads up on the PrintinZ flex plate, i'll check it out
actually I wasn't...i'll give that a try before purchasing anything and report back. I've been printing with PLA anyway and use a 60C bed with blue scotch 3M tape.
i consistently have problems with the lower right part of the plate (closest to the door) while the rest of the plate is fine. instead of smooth lines I get wavy lines but i've lived with it. ...
after reading this post it seems that I can remove the aluminum bed and forget using the shim for the z-axis....
Consistent with most, my aluminium bed that came with my Power Spec 3D pro is warped. I would like to replace it with a 1/8" sheet of Borosilicate glass but information seemed to be scattered across...
solved: printing at 230C fixed
I've also experienced the clicking when trying to load filament at 210C with a less than ideal filament tip. Always start with a good tip and I now load at 220.
hello!
I'm using a powerspec 3d pro with S3d 3.0.1. I've had the printer about a week and i'm trying to print a golf tee from the following thingverse link. You can see in the image my printer...
