So here is a weird thing when I put the numbers in the terminal I can print and everything is fine. Now when I put those numbers in the firmware and load it up it wants to push the nozzle about 4 mms...
So I have it working now with the original numbers. Come to find out in the firmware under Additional Features define Z_PROBE_OFFSET_RANGE_MAX was set to -5.00. So when I used -4.00 it was not in...
I feel like an idiot. I quickly read your first post as I didnt have much time to work on my printer and now when I read it again it makes a lot more sense now. Gonna try it again today and see what...
So i have tried as you have said sniffle and i started at z-4.00 now im up to z-11.00 and seems to not getting any better.
So I checked the Z_PROBE_OFFSET_FROM_NOZZLE and it is set to -3.0. And everytime that I have the nozzle touch the glass and zero out the readings then have the probe touch the same spot I get the...

Is I had my ABL workig good and printing good. I decided to shorten the plunger for the endstop and make it out of abs. So the problem is after I adjust for the offset like zennmaster does the hot...
Did you try enabling the fan in the firmware? If its turned off in Marlin the software wont be able to control it.
Ive been using OctoPi that is easy to set up and does everything from slicing to full control of the print. Also can set up a web cam that you can monitor from anywhere.
Anytime. When I downloaded the frimware ake sure a pull out the other two config files as it messed up the abl. I also used clugh42 servo mount from thingiverse to mount everything.

Before I loaded the abl the printer was working fine. I can go into pronterface and move the x axis and it moves the correct way. Just only when it goes to home yhe x axis it moves to left of the...
So its only the x axis that moves the wrong way. If I tap the endstop with my finger it will stop while moving. Everything else works fine y axis moves the right way and the probe arm for the z ABL...
So I finally was able to get around to set up my ABL. Everything is hooked up with servo and working fine to find the position for the servo arm. So when I go to home the x or y axis it moves away...
So I want to start using Repetier Host and I am kinda confused with the printer settings. The Printer tab and Printer shape are messing me up. I have a 12" printer if someone could give me a hand.
So when I install the .3 is it better to heat up the nozzle first or can I do it cold?
I'm talking about the hexagon. Thanks for the info everyone.
So I messed up on an order and mistakenly ordered .3 mm nozzles instead of .4. What are the benefits and drawbacks of using a .3 over a .4?
