Can anyone provide any feedback on how good MakerBot's tech support is? Are they the best when it comes to 3D printers, like I've heard?

Can anyone provide any feedback on how good MakerBot's tech support is? Are they the best when it comes to 3D printers, like I've heard?
I've never used rafts when 3D printing. Do you guys commonly use them? Do they work well? What is the main purpose of the raft, and when is the best time to use them? I've never really had any...
Looks like they launched their KS campaign today and was funded in about 40 minutes - https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/362246155/littlerp-affordable-flexible-open-3d-resin-printer
Pretty...
Anyone know when the results of this will be published? I'm very interested in seeing the outcome.
I don't know about you guys, but I feel that if the MOD-t is able to do what they claim at a price of only $249, once all of these units ship, and people begin showing these machines to friends, more...
Very well said. I'm looking forward to getting mine.
I don't think there is any carbon fiber filament that actually prints as strong as carbon fiber would be. Carbon fiber printing needs a totally different type of printer if you wish for the strength...
FYI, the KS campaign is now live - https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/874542767/recycling-program-for-abs-plastics-3d-printer-wast?ref=nav_search
This stuff could make a huge difference. It could bring the quality of FDM prints up to those of SLA.
These are very impressive looking. What is the fast you can print with the MOD-t. If these were done at 30mm/s, what is the fasted you can set it to print at?
I'm curious to see your photos and know how it went. Can't wait for your to share. How did it work?
I use mine at least 3 days out of the week. Mostly Weekends but sometime during the week. If I had more time I'd definitely use it more.
Thought this was really interesting so I would share.

It's so amazing to me all of the...
I wonder if anyone will try and copy the technology used in the MOD-t. It's so new, and such a brilliant idea. I could see companies like Makerbot trying to utilize this. Does anyone know if this...
Excellent interview. I love how he is a big nerd. People say a lot of bad things, expecially recently but he's a good guy with a good heart.
I ordered a 10 pack of these last week, and I must say, I am very pleased. They do everything they say they do. Sure the price is a bit high but they are worth the money.
Every single teacher I have spoken with (about 5-6) have said that they would love to have 3D printers in their schools. I don't think any teachers (at least very few) would be against the idea. ...
Makerbot is here to stay. With this said though, I could see them inching their way into new forms of technology. Specifically DLP / Laser printing via SLA. SLA printers will be the ones that...
Definitely if you have $4,000 to spend, I'd suggest getting some sort of SLA printer. Your quality will be a lot better. Speed wise I don't know if it would be the absolute fastest, but it...
I don't think there should be any issues with SLA prints lasting 100 years. Once they are cured, I thought it wasn't reversible. I dont' think UV should effect it much, and heat certainly shouldn't.
Chocabyte is one of the better ones. I've seen it in action and really think it has potential. What do you plan on using it for?
7000 Euros is enough for just about anything. I'd stay away from the ProDesk3D until more reviews come out on it. I'd go for an SLA printer if I were you. There are several coming out for under...
These are quite amazing. Found them on thingiverse this morning. (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:351449)

I'm pretty sure this printer is solely for Indiegogo backers, but not 100%. Have you seen it elsewhere?
I hear people talking about using Acetone vapor baths all the time, in order to make FDM printed items look more appealing. Afterall, we all hate those lines in prints. However, there is this one...
