Has anyone successfully ported the latest rcbugfix to work with the I3v?
I have tried and haven't had much success.
Hi Roxy, Thanks for the quick reply.
I apologize for being so vague in my question. I took a few months hiatus from 3d printing and apparently a lot has changed!
Im looking for the latest stable...
Roxy, can u please give me the link to the latest stable version of marlin for the prusa I3?
Yea, i was surprised at how easy it was to print with, basically the same settings as PLA. I did no clean up either.
Finally had a chance to test out the Bamboo filament.... Pretty Darn Cool..I like this stuff. . Going to order a roll of it!

I ordered the bamboo filament..received it today.. Everything looks great..even got a free sample of fila silk filament..
Just placed my first order..!!! Nice to be in the same state too!
I use Hatchbox religiously...never had a problem. $21 a roll from Amazon is perfect!
lol....Ive had a proximity sensor on hand for a while now...but havent found a way to install with both my extruders yet.
Why not just pour your beer into the Coffee cup directly?
What brand of servo are you using?
i was thinking of doing that , replacing it with a digital servo rather than an analog..better quality.
BUT.... the same thing is happening to a friend of mine whos only had the new servo working...
Im telling you, that's whats happening to me....it works fine, then craps out, then works fine again.
I have even swapped out the gears in servo , to remove any slop it might of had.
The reason i chimed in is because I too am having the same issue... All of a sudden my servo is a few degrees off about 60% of the times.. It never used to to do that.. I'm thinking it has something...
Rather than changing your numbers that were known to work...shouldnt you be checking as to why it is no longer working correctly? Firmware doesnt change because it sits over night or a period of...
Your Prints are looking Great!
1.75 here...with liner in the extruder block and hot end
I also Live in South Fl...and print from my garage, ive had my printer in there for almost 8 months now and no issues at all..if anything it helps with ABS not warping due to the warm room .
Also...
I can say after using the E3D with your dual flex for over 4 months...oozing is not an issue....using some simple retraction settings in S3D.
A new Feature in S3D is the ooze shield, specifically...
Shouldn't you be using Type 1?
What are your temps?
Did you do the PID tuning after changing from the Hex over to E3D? They both use different thermisters did you change that in Marlin?
That's the same reason why i went to the dual flex setup..mine kept skipping.
No, actually im using it with a Dual setup..but i don't see why you couldn't just mount one side only. Then when you are ready, you can setup the other side. Your gears should spin freely with no...
here is the thread http://3dprintboard.com/showthread.php?10480-Itty-Bitty-Single-Extruder
towards the end you'll find my remix for the E3d Hot end.
My setup would skip too..which is why i...
