    Stratasys Hires HP Executive Chris Morgan to Head up Marketing

    Stratasys, the Minneapolis, MN and Rehovot, Israel-based world leader in 3D printing and additive manufacturing solutions has announced that Chris Morgan, formerly of HP, will be joining their team as its new Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer. Morgan, who spent 25 years at HP, including serving as Senior Vice President of HP’s printing and imaging business in the Japan/Asia Pacific region from 2004 to 2009, was instrumental in establishing his former company as a leader in the graphics solutions market. Previously, from 2001 to 2004, he was the driving force behind HP’s global marketing strategy in printing and imaging.     Seems like a desperate move on Stratasys' part to counter the HP announcement. Honestly, its about time that they receive their due for sitting on the tech for the last 20 years without innovating or attempting to bring it to the consumer market.
