One Harvard Professor of International Development, Calestous Jura, has aligned himself with his colleague, Ricardo Hausmann, and has joined forces to challenge the President of Zimbabwe, Robert Mugabe’s, endorsement of an approach to create strong industrial and economic development among the 15 Southern African countries that belong to the SADC (Southern African Development Community). They propose that Southern African states should rely less and on their standard extraction and exportation of natural resources and more on developing technologies like 3D printing.
