Have you ever wanted to 3D print a Hurricane? Well, now you can thanks to a man named Francis Reddy, and NASA. Reddy used two images taken of Hurricane Julio back in August as it made a close pass to Hawaii. Luckily it never struck, but the satellite images were perfect, according to Reddy, for 3D printing. He combined the basic satellite image with an infrared image to come up with the models to print on his Da Vinci 1.0, using stock ABS. More details about this interesting 3D model which can be downloaded for free can be found here: http://3dprint.com/15016/3d-print-hurricane-julio
