This is something you probably haven't ever seen before. A man in California has 3D printed the USGS map of the recent Napa, California earthquake that struck on August 24. Using software that he has created to turn 2D maps into 3D models he modeled the quake and then sent it off to be 3D printed on his Afinia 3D printer. The results were quite amazing.
