FDA Approves 3D Printed Facial Implants
Some petty big news for additive manufacturing's involvement within the medical field. Yesterday the FDA approved the very first 3D printed facial implants. The implants created by a company called Oxford Performance Materials allow surgeons to customize the reconstructive implants to fit each patient's needs. if the materials and the safety procedures are improved, you will be abble to order terminator like bones in the morning and reciving them the next day at your door, lol
