OmNomProject nOm II - Turns plastic bags, bottles and more into 3D printer filament

We've all see the filament extruders out there. You can feed them with plastic pellets, shavings, etc and it creates filament. However, a company called OmNomProject is working on a device that both grinds, extrudes and spools your filament in one device. Most exciting of all is that it works with many different types of plastic including plastic bags, water bottles, plastic cups, plastic eating utensils, and more. The founders, Michael and Mary Beth plan on launching a kickstarter project sometime in the coming months, and it should be priced somewhere between $1500 and $2000.
