Local Motors 3D Printed Car Design Winners

Today Local Motors has announced the winners of their 3D Printed Car Design Challenge. The contest was created leading up to Local Motor's ambitious project to 3D print an actual car at the International Manufacturing Technology Show in September, over a short span of just 6 days.

Man, the Aeroblade is just sexy. But I can see why they chose the Strati for a blend of looks and practicality (and actually using the layer texture as a stylistic accent, that's a nice touch).
