Ford is Utilizing 3d Printing

This is the first time I've heard about Ford utilizing 3D printing in building prototypes for cars and trucks. This video shows exactly how they are doing it. I love how 3D printing is starting to spread throughout all the industries. Do you guys think that all the car manufacturers are utilizing 3d printing to some extent?

Ford is one of those companies which has really jumped on technology in the last 5-6 years or so. Glad to see an American company looking to innovate and use innovation to produce their vehicles. Ford n fact has been using 3D printing for several years now. It's just now that we are hearing about it, due to the fact that they are using it much more recently.
