Glass plate thickness 1/8" versus 1/4"

My 1/4" borosilicate glass plate from McMaster-Carr is toast and needs replacement. McMaster no longer lists the 1/4" thickness. Anyone using 1/8" boro glass? Wondering if it's thick enough.

Hmmmm. They did do away with th 1/4 i knew they had done away with 3/16" a while back. I use their 1/8 with no issues. I have two of them and just made shorter corner clamps. I think the less mass you put on the bed makes it easier on the heater.
