Slant Concepts has launched its Kickstarter campaign for their 3D printable ShopArm, which can be trained to do lots of the boring jobs around the house. While working out the specifics of the idea, they set up three requirements for the robot arm that they wanted to create: it had to cost less than $1,000, be able to be used by anyone regardless of their experience level, and makers had to be able to build it in their own garage.
