I am sort of surprised at this article. Most of the big companies that i have worked for have had in house rapid prototyping for years. Moen has had an SLA machine and scanner in house for almost 2 decades as well as 3D scanning. Invacare (medical company), gojo use in house FDM machine. I could rip through a ton of companies that do this today. I have one on my desk at work and we do light production work with them.

    What am i missing here?
