The UK-based prototyping firm Ogle Models was recently called on to produce a 3D printed British Telecom (BT) cordless phone and base charger for the industrial design firm Alloy. Using SLA 3D printing and a number of newfound finishing techniques, the Ogle Models team was able to create a sleek telephone and base charger unit. The cordless phone has a matte black finish, with smooth edges and intricate details for the speaker component and numbers, while the base charger has a brush metal effect.
