For over a year, we've been following the lawsuit that a group of shareholders filed against MakerBot and parent company Stratasys, claiming that MakerBot deliberately misled customers and investors when they released their disastrous Smart Extruders in January 2014. Now, it looks as though the whole debacle may finally be put to rest for good, as the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota has dismissed the case against MakerBot and Stratasys, stating that the evidence of knowledgeable wrongdoing wasn't strong enough.
