UK IKEA Hacker Makes Large Format 3D Printer with LACK Table
Wayne Mason-Drust, a maker from the UK, has created what looks like quite a brilliant work, using a simple IKEA table to make the structure for his inexpensive, large format 3D printer. He said while it’s not the fastest, as of yet, it offers great results, boasting a size 0.6 nozzle with a E3D volcano hot end connected to a E3D Titan Extruder. Although he has only posted a video so far, which 3D Hubs sent to us, Wayne says he will be making an Instructable shortly, as well as entering the design in the Instructables 3D Printing Contest 2016 sponsored with 3D Hubs. LOL, good going for him and I like it. Re-imaging stuff like this is great.
Do bed magnets deteriorate.
