    Bad Day-Good Day

    The mother Board on our Replicator 1 blew up today in a puff of smoke?

    That's the Bad News.

    Then the UPS Showed up at my son's house with his new Ultimaker 2!

    MakerBot is shipping out a new Mother Board this week for the Replicator.

    This is a known design fault on the Replicators Mother Boards and MakerBot is replacing the board for free, so we can't really complain. We have been fortunate to always get great customer support on all out MakerBots. Of course, we were right in the middle of printing the parts for 12 Prusa i3 Kits for our next workshop. Good thing we have our 2 Prusas to use and now the Ultimaker 2 is in the production line. We should have all 300 pieces done in a couple of nights.
