In a shocking update on Kickstarter this week, Rylan Grayston, the creator of the $100 Peachy Printer, finally came clean about his partner's embezzlement of more than $320,000 of the Kickstarter funds. It seems that rather than setting up a business bank account, all of the Kickstarter funds -- $587,435.73 worth -- were sent directly to Grayston’s business partner David Boe’s personal bank account. Unfortunately, at the time Boe was in the process of building a new home, and decided to start dipping into Peachy Printer funds to help complete it, to the tune of more than $320,000 of the Kickstarter funds. Grayston has known about the embezzlement for over a year and kept it from his Kickstarter backers while he attempted to get Boe to repay the funds. At this point Boe has only repaid $100,000 of the money stolen, and Peachy Printer is now completely broke.
