Researchers from A*STAR's Singapore Institute of Manufacturing Technology (SIMTech) and the Singapore Centre for 3D Printing (SC3DP) at Nanyang Technological University have developed a titanium-tantalum powder mixture. Using SLM 3D printing, they have successfully printed the material to create 3D prototypes, which could potentially improve stress absorption in 3D printed implants.
