The EPIC 3D lab, which should prove to be aptly named, has just been opened at The Children's Hospital at Westmead, in Australia. There, they plan to begin 3D printing implants for patients like Tiana Stalley, who suffers from NF1, a type of neurofibromatosis. She received a metal implant which will grow as her leg grows, and has already straightened it out, allowing her to lead a more normal life. They will also be marketing six different innovative 3D printed devices later in the year which may be available even for global export.
