As NASA continues on their mission to send a crewed ship to Mars in 2021, construction and testing continues on the perfect spaceship and the rockets which will propel it into space safely. As safety and realistic travel are considered from every angle, the old design used in the Apollo mission is still found to be fundamentally best--but they’ve spruced this up into the ‘limousine’ version,’ offering more space and amenities. The capsule will also be fired by 3D printed rockets, specifically with a multitutde of 3D printed nozzles. 3D printing is becoming more and more important to this mission as they realize, via metal 3D printing, that quality parts that will hold up in extreme temperatures can be made 40% faster, with all of the nozzles being fabricated in just three weeks.
