Television program All-American Makers made its debut in November as a place for makers to vet their products and ideas in front of a panel of expert judges. One of the experts on the show is the Brook Drumm, inventor of the Printrbot, and in an interview in Popular Mechanics he explained why makers are the new superheroes of today. The judges for the show, which airs on the Science Channel, are Drumm himself; Brian Roe, a mechanical and robotics expert; and Marc Portney, a venture capitalist.
