When Matthew McMillan's daughter asked him to make her something Minecraft-related with his 3D printer, he did. And given that the original Minecraft website states that "early players of the game built structures to protect from nocturnal monsters," the idea of a Minecraft nightlight is very appropriate. McMillan has posted his light, with a 3D printed cube structure, on Thingiverse and has added additional information and all necessary links on his blog. So, if you know a child who is afraid of the dark, or who lives Minecraft, or both -- this is a great idea to add colorful Minecraft-patterned lights to their nightlife.
