In the UK, the 3D printed selfie is really beginning to catch on, as retailer ASDA is seeing after a trial run with their booths, even attended by a celebrity recently. Once the customer enters the booth, it takes just a few seconds of scanning and then they can choose between a six- or eight-inch figurine which is uploaded to a 3D printing service bureau and then shipped to the customer. Recently, Lauren Goodger, formerly of a popular UK show, stopped by an ASDA location to get her own 3D printed selfie figure.
