Charlie Lesoine knew what he was looking for in an instrument, he just didn't know if he would be able to find it. As so many makers do when the products available aren't exactly what they are looking for, he decided instead to make his own. Thus, after six years of contemplation and experimentation, the Arpeggiator was born. The process of creating this instrument inspired Lesoine to work on the creation of a family of instruments and so he created a company, Tangible Instruments, and is at work on the rest of the 3D printed musical ecosystem.
