3D Printed High-power Card Shooter
What does a tinkerer do when they have a new 3D printer and 5,000 playing cards? Why make a card shooter, of course! That's just what teacher Cody Wilson did with that many cards that his robotic's team had made to advertise their last creation. The shooter, which is nearly entirely 3D printed, except for some of the minor mechanical assistance parts, can send cards flying at 30 mph for a distance of 30 feet. For lefties, just mirror the files and you'll be able to join in the game too. All of the files are available for download on Thingiverse and while this invention won't save any lives, it sure will make them fun!
