Adafruit has posted files for a portable 7 " HDMI display monitor that has a 3D printed case. The case, made up by two parts, takes about four and a half hours to print, and the two parts are then screwed together. The rest of the project is easy to assemble with straightforward and detailed instructions available. The perks to having a smaller backup monitor are many, and include the ability to be used with a Raspberry Pi or as a camera display monitor. But also think about using it simply as an extra display monitor for your side projects while working your day job. You can keep your obsessive video game going without interrupting any of your other "more important" work projects!
