After its 2006 launch, interplanetary space probe New Horizons has just reached Pluto for that dwarf planet's first-ever flyby. Brian Allan, an engineer at Formlabs, decided to mark the momentous achievement by 3D printing a replica of the New Horizons probe. Modeled using Blender 3D and printed over about 8 hours on his Formlabs Form 1+ SLA 3D printer, the 4.75"-tall New Horizons turned out impressively.
