Local Motors and the University of Michigan have teamed up on a SmartCart Project. The University will be using mule-like 3D printed cars via Local Motors to test autonomous travel within their Mcity test facility on campus. Ultimately the University would like to enable a fleet of 3d printed autonomous mules able to take students and faculty to their desired locations. The vehicles are printed with both Ninjaflex and an ABS/carbon Fiber composite. More details on the SmartCart project can be found here: http://3dprint.com/80276/3d-printed-autonomous-cars/
