Google's Jump Platform - 3D Printable VR Camera Rig

Last week Google announced something which could really boost the Virtual Reality market, the Jump Platform. This new platform will incorporate the design files and geometries for a 3D printable rig that houses 16 camera's in a circular fashion. The rig is specifically created for the capture of VR video content. Google teamed with GoPro who will be selling the rig as well. According to the company the design files will be released this summer as the Jump platform officially launches.
