Bay Area artist Charles Gadeken led a team in the construction of a 50’ tree for the 2014 Burning Man. A smaller version of this tree called 2SQUARED Mini made its debut at last week’s Maker Faire in San Mateo, California. This time consuming and mind expanding project includes 768 3D printed cubes, each with an LED light controlled via WiFi by a custom designed iPad app. Read about the process of creating this impressive piece in the full article: http://3dprint.com/66629/2squared-mini-illuminated-art/
