NASA and Future Engineers are calling on students of 3D design to help come up with objects for the 3D Space Container Challenge. It's the second in series of Future Engineers Challenges which ask students in grades K-12 to create and submit their digital 3D models for use by astronauts. The International Space Station is designed to provide areas to neatly store and tie down such items as spare parts, food, tools and even trash, and the means they require containers to keep everything properly organized within their limited volume of storage area on the ISS.
