Stratasys has just concluded their eleventh year for the 2015 Extreme Redesign 3D Printing Challenge with students toiling over the last few months to create 3D printed designs that either offer a completely new design or refurbish an old design with greater function and utility. From the elegant new helix shaped 3D printed pencil sharpener to the zero-gravity scale to be used in space, the designs were highly technical in concept but streamlined in design, and aesthetically pleasing.
