Australian boutique design shop Avooq has created a line of 3D printed items they say can be used to upcycle old hardware to make something new and useful. Their CDBits clips can be attached to old CDs and DVDs to build modular shelving and storage units, and as the CDs retail for pennies each, they say the rapidly aging technology makes inexpensive fodder to build the units.
